Chimney and Stove Inspections: The fire
department will inspect all chimney and stove installations upon request.
A chimney should be cleaned at least every 6 months. For regulations pertaining to stove installations contact the fire department.
Fire Department Membership: We are an
all volunteer fire department and are always looking for volunteers. Our membership consists of Active Members, Auxiliary Members and F.A.S.T. Squad members. To become eligible you must be 18
years of age, in good health, live within a 5 mile radius of the station and attend 50% of the meetings and fire calls throughout the year.
We would like to have our members attend one outside training session a year. We meet the first Thursday of each month for a business meeting at 7:30 PM at the station. We also meet the third Thursday for training. Hope to see some new faces there soon.
