Dear Madbury Postal Customer:
Effective July 1, 2004, the town of Madbury will be assigned ZIP Code 03823. The last line of your mailing address will change to
Madbury NH 03823. Customers who receive their mail by carrier delivery should continue to use the street names and house numbers assigned by the town.
For the best possible service, it is important not to use the new ZIP Code until July 1.
The Postal Service will automatically redirect any mail addressed to the old ZIP Code, but for the best possible service, it is
important to use the new ZIP Code beginning July 1. You may use up your existing stationery over the next 18 months. However, we do ask that you update your stationery with your new address no later than 18 months.
To make this transition as smooth as possible, we ask that you notify your correspondents of your new mailing address, noting the July 1 effective date. Often companies provide toll free numbers to customers for
address information updates. Postage-paid address notification cards will be delivered to customers to use to notify their correspondents of the change. More cards can be obtained at the Dover Post Office.
As a
result of the realignment of carrier routes to accommodate this change, the time of day you receive your mail may change. If you have questions or concerns regarding this new ZIP Code, please call the Dover Post Office at
742-4040.
Sincerely,
Andrea Fenn Postmaster Dover NH 03820-9998
