Our congregation consists of about 35 active members. In an ecumenical spirit, we welcome a number of friends who join us regularly for worship and fellowship. Our services and programs are enjoyed by our multi-generational community. Our talented and enthusiastic choir graces our services with a musical dimension. Thanks to the hard work and generosity many of our members, we have a modern classroom and kitchen.
Although we are a small church, we believe that we are called to make a difference in our community and beyond. Our local missions include Hospice, A Safe Place, holiday food and gifts, town emergency food bank, Habitat for Humanity, as well as individuals in need of assistance. Our broader world missions include Heifer Project International and Samaritan's Purse. This is done through the combined efforts of Ladies Aid, the Missions Board, and congregational support.
We enjoy a relaxed traditional service with time to greet one another in the Passing of the Peace. We value the music, the Prayers of the People, and a challenging and inspirational sermon that sustains us throughout the week. We also encourage the congregation, including the children, to participate and contribute to the service, enabling us to express our individual insights and images of God. We believe such sharing enhances our learning and understanding of the many facets of God's greatness.
